I'm growing some hair this year!! Hey, that could be my motto! lol

Why Do It NaturaLee?

I was inspired to start this blog as a resource for women in Barbados that have or want to have natural hair. No one here teaches us how to take care of the kink and make it beautiful with the resources we have available to us and so many myths have surrounded natural hair that I was so overwhelmed when I realized it can actually be quite simple.

As time has gone on and as I have matured somewhat, this blog has changed, and will continue to do so. I'm not setting out to be the next natural hair guru, nor am I looking to get +10k subscribers on Youtube for any of my videos although I do a little jig over each new subbie! I ♥ you!

My goal is not to be the next big Bajan blogger. I'm just looking forward to the day when this site can act as a discussion board for all of us. I love reading your responses, answering your questions and helping anyway that I can. I'm just going to do me.
